"Studenten" This is the time of the year when students graduate from school. You will hear and see plenty of truckloads of youth circling around the centre of Stockholm, blasting out music and singing at the top of their lungs! Stay clear of the "beer spray"!

6th of June - Swedish National Day Gustav Vasa became King of Sweden on June 6, 1523 & on June 6, 1809 Sweden adopted a new constitution.

23rd of June - Midsummer Eve A lovely time of the year when we welcome the summer and dance around the maypole (adorned with leaves and flowers) after which we brave the outdoors eating herring and fresh potatoes, singing and drinking snaps until the wee hours!
